Safety First
Your safety is non-negotiable
Every operator, aircraft, and pilot in our network meets the strictest European aviation standards.
Regulatory framework — every flight meets Greek and European standards
HCAA Air Operator Certificate
All operators hold a current AOC issued by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority — the Greek national regulator. Renewed annually with ongoing compliance checks on operations, maintenance, and crew.
EASA-compliant aircraft
Every aircraft in our network is certified under EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) regulations. Airworthiness documentation, maintenance logs, and insurance certificates are reviewed before each season.
Type-rated, experienced pilots
Operators employ only pilots with full type ratings on the aircraft they fly, a minimum of 500 hours on type, and current medical certificates. Instrument ratings are standard for longer overwater sectors.
Full passenger insurance
Every charter includes passenger liability insurance meeting or exceeding EU Regulation 785/2004. Additional travel insurance is available at booking.
Pre-flight process — what happens before every flight
- Weather assessment. Every flight begins with a formal weather assessment by the assigned pilot. Operations are only cleared when conditions exceed regulatory VMC minimums.
- Aircraft pre-flight inspection. The pilot completes a full pre-flight walkaround per the aircraft flight manual, verifying fuel, oil, control surfaces, lighting, and emergency equipment.
- Passenger weight and balance. Payload and centre-of-gravity calculations are completed per flight using passenger and luggage weights provided at booking.
- Briefing. Passengers receive a mandatory safety briefing covering emergency exits, life jackets (where carried), seat belts, and crew communication.
- Flight following. All flights run under an active flight plan with continuous ATC contact. Life jackets are standard for overwater sectors.
